Drivers invited to ‘plate safe’ event

Mount Gambier motorists are invited to attend a ‘plate safe’ event on February 27.

Members of the community have the opportunity to have anti-theft number plate screws fitted to their vehicle, free of charge, thanks to Mount Gambier Police, Bunnings Mount Gambier and Mount Gambier Rotary Clubs.

Local Rotarians will assist motorists to fit the speciality screws, kindly donated by Bunnings, to prevent theft and misuse of their vehicle registration plates.

The “plate safe” event will take place from 10am – 2pm on Sunday, in the car park at Bunnings on Penola Road, Mount Gambier.
