Early points to build confidence

Division 1 – Mount Schank/Mil Lel/Mount Gambier v Glencoe

The combined side of Mount Schank, Mil Lel and Mount Gambier will host Glencoe this Saturday at Mount Schank.

Both sides are coming off tough losses last week with the combined side failing to get a set while Glencoe came up short, losing on games.

After struggling a bit in round one, the Glencoe men played quite well last week against Reidy, only dropping one set for the day.

The combined side on the other hand had some competitive games but could not come up with any sets to show for it.

If Glencoe can get the same production from the men then they will be on their way to getting their first win of the season.

Uniting v West Gambier

Uniting and West Gambier will face off this Saturday at Corriedale Park in the grand final rematch.

Uniting are coming off a big win last week while West were resting up with the bye.

Both sides are looking like they will be the teams to beat this season given how they have played early on.

In round one West struggled in the men’s doubles which will be something they will have to improve on given how good Uniting were in the doubles last week.

The ladies doubles will be a great watch as both sides have been excellent so far this season with this match up being very competitive.

West will be hungry to get the win this week and take revenge after how last season ended for them.

Because of that it may be what they need to get over the line and snatch the win.

Division 2

Mount Gambier will host the combined side of Suttontown and Glencoe on Saturday with a lot on the line as both sides have started the season 2-0.

Meanwhile the two West Gambier sides of Red and Blue will battle it out at West Gambier with both teams looking for their first win of the season.

Division 3

In division 3 Mount Gambier will host the Centrals and Mount Schank combined side with Mount Gambier looking for their second win of the season while the combined team aiming to continue their unbeaten streak.

Uniting will be seeking their first win as they take on Mil Lel with Mil Lel looking to bounce back on their home court after a tough loss last week.

Ladies Doubles

In the ladies doubles competition Reidy Park will take on Mil Lel White at Olympic Park while Mil Lel Green will play Mount Schank in Mil Lel.

And finally Glencoe will take on West Gambier in Glencoe as the two undefeated sides go head to head.

Mixed Doubles

Uniting/Glencoe will take on Moorak Green while Moorak Gray face Suttontown in Moorak.

Both Moorak sides be take to the court determined to bounce back after defeats last week.

Mount Schank will play host to host Mount Gambier Blue, with Mount Gambier Green taking on Glencoe at Gambier on their home courts.
