Zodiacs vs Hobitz
In Round 14 of the 2022 Mount Gambier Netball Association season Zodiacs and Hobitz will face off once again in what is bound to be an epic A Grade match this Saturday.
The weather will be cold but both of these teams will be on fire.
Hobitz are still sitting in second spot on the ladder, while Zodiacs occupy fourth spot.
Zodiacs had bye in round 13 and will be keen to regain some momentum but Hobitz took on the Vicis and won in flying fashion 81-31.
In the last two times these teams have fought, Hobitz won by over 20 goals, but will Zodiacs fight back this time?
Like the well-known quote ‘third times a charm’, Zodiacs will want their game faces on for this match as Hobitz have proven to be a tough team to beat this season.
It would bring out a new Zodiacs side if they take home the win and the club will be looking for as many intercepts as possible for this game.
Making sure every goal counts Hobitz will be playing their usual fast game of netball and will be shooting their shots hard and fast.
Intruders vs Vicis
Over at Court Two, Intruders and Vicis meet once again for a hard contest for the latter.
Intruders still enjoy prime position in top spot on the ladder, while Vicis, unfortunately, continue to sit in last place.
The possibility of a medium shower may throw off a couple of these players in these teams and they will discover who can fight hard for the ball.
The Vicis will be going up against an extremely hard team that has only lost a single game so far this season.
They will be looking to work on their defence for this game to stop the excellent Intruders shooters from getting their goals in the ring.
Vicis will need to work fast and would not want to slow down at any moment since the Intruders will take that to their advantage.
The Intruders are an excellent team of defensive and offensive netballers who put everything into the game, no matter who they play.
The last two times these teams faced off, Intruders took away wins of 85-17 and 84-35.
An improvement on goals from the Vicis is amazing and they will be looking to take another step in the right direction against a touch Intruders team this weekend.
