Plans are under way for a New Year’s Eve event in the heart of Mount Gambier.
City of Mount Gambier is in the process of working things out for the NYE event, with a spokesperson saying plans were “evolving every hour or so”.
“It has been a challenge to coordinate in a short timeframe after Mount Gambier Community Event Management cancelled (the Vansittart Park event),” the spokesperson said.
At this stage there will be a low key family friendly event in the Cave Gardens between 4pm and 8:30pm/9:00pm featuring activities such as face painting, a band, jumping castle, food vendors, coffee and music.
Families are encouraged to bring along a picnic and enjoy!
The spokesperson said final details were still being worked through, and The SE Voice will update any information as soon as it comes to hand.
