Finals fever hits Limestone Coast

Finals fever will hit the Limestone Coast with force this weekend as many of the region’s favourite sports hit crunch time.

The journeys to the holy grail begin in earnest in the Lower South East Hockey Association, Mid South Eastern and Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara football and netball seasons as teams put a year of blood, sweat and tears on the line.

But there will be one trophy up for grabs on Saturday afternoon when the Mount Gambier Netball Association decider is played at Olympic Park.

Hobitz and Intruders will duke it out for the A Grade title, while clubs also fight for supremacy in six other grand finals.

The finals story is only just beginning in the 2021 LSEHA season as the top two teams look to steal a grand final ticket, while third and fourth on the ladder fight to stay alive.

It will be a huge weekend of KNT action as Keith hosts the qualifying final on Saturday before sudden-death action occurs at Mundulla 24 hours later.

All eyes will be locked on Mick and Jean Walker Oval in the Mid South Eastern world on Saturday afternoon where a preliminary final berth awaits.
