Good sports help others through tough times

SportsPower Millicent has powered up by donating generous amount of men’s and women’s clothing to ac.care for those in need as part of The SE Voice winter warmth community campaign.

SportsPower Millicent co-owner Donna Denton said the business initially decided to become involved after receiving an email from The SE Voice sales consultant Kelly Costin detailing the opportunity.

“We are really passionate about supporting the less vulnerable in the community, especially after such a cold winter,” she said.

“Probably a big part of our business is supporting sporting clubs as well as local groups and obviously this is a fantastic one to be able to support.

“We are just keen to help locals in any way we can and support people that support the business as well but really this is about people in need who are less fortunate.

“Helping those in need is just a small part of the bigger picture and we think it’s just a wonderful initiative of ac.care, The SE Voice and everyone involved – so well done.”
