Hatherleigh to continue winning form

Blue Lake Sports Park will host round 7 of the Limestone Coast Women’s Football under 16 competition tomorrow night, kicking off at 6pm.

HATHERLEIGH v DEMONS

Hatherleigh will start as outright favourites when they take on the Demons, going in undefeated.

Both sides will be looking to play the wide-open space of the ground and use it to their advantage.

Hatherleigh are a very strong attacking side and make the most of scoring opportunities when they get the chance, while the Demons are a fast and nimble side, which will ensure a good match up between the teams.

For the Demons to win they will need a full four quarter effort and will look to Ella Guest, Bailey Broome and Sophie Wight to lead from the front, with support from Lucy Pridham, Chelsea Lucas and Isabella Morello.

Hatherleigh have many skillful players that can play across the ground, making them an extremely adaptable side.

The Eagles will look to Chloe Bellinger, Hannah Bellinger and Sebella Coghlan to be on top of their game and have Lucy Crowe, Jeda Hibberd and Bella Gysbers performing as well.

KYBYBOLITE V HAWKS

Kybybolite will take on the Kongorong Hawks in the second match of the evening.

Neither the Hawks nor Kyby have had a great start to the season but are improving as their players gain more experience.

Last year’s inaugural premiers the Hawks have had a lot of fresh players come into the team this year and are starting to find the feet with the game style needed.

Kyby are always around the mark and have made their presence felt against some better teams this season.

The Hawks will need everyone to be focused and on top of the game plan and will look to their star players in Evie Sealey, Stevie Collins, Jasmin McKinnon and Lilly Gordon to do a lot of the in and under work, with Cedar Scott and Sophie Longbottom leading the tackles.

But Kyby will also be out to score some valuable points and will need a 100% team effort if they are to get the win.

They will call on Zara East, Amelia Frank and Chloe Stewart to perform while having the support from Cleo Adams, Ruby Sambell and Evie Koch.

This clash will be an exceptionally good game of under 16 women’s football and scores should be close come final siren time.
