Holiday program cut short

Wattle Range Council’s school holiday activities program has been disrupted by the spread of COVID across the region.

“In light of current COVID directions we have decided to cancel and/or modify the activities scheduled for January 10-14,” development services director Emma Clay said.

“The Come and Watch a Movie sessions at Southend, Tantanoola and Glencoe have been cancelled, and the Come and Play activities at the Millicent Library and Gallery will no longer be held at scheduled times.

“You can still drop in for art and craft or virtual play at Millicent at any time on Friday, January 14.

“We will continue to assess the situation and advise on the remainder of the program at a later date.

“I can also advise the SAPOL Road Safety sessions scheduled for January 18 and 19 at Millicent have also been cancelled.”
