International executive visits

The Kimberly-Clark Australia Millicent Mill has recently been inspected by one of its parent company’s most senior American-based executives.

Chief supply chain officer Tamera Fenske took up the role in September and has global responsibilities for procurement, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, safety and sustainability, as well as the company’s Global Nonwovens division.

She has been visiting the multi-national company’s plants across the Asia Pacific region.

Millicent Mill manager Adam Carpenter was her local host.

“Ms Fenske wanted to learn more about our business and spend quality time with local teams,” a KCA spokesperson said.

“She loved spending time with the Millicent team and was impressed with the mill’s operations and team capability, as well as our plans for the year ahead.”

Ms Fenske joined the Kimberly-Clark Corporation with deep experience leading manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Most recently, she served as senior vice president of manufacturing and supply chain for 3M Company where she led the end-to-end supply chain for the company in the US and Canada across all its business groups and markets.

“I’m inspired by Kimberly-Clark’s purpose of Better Care for a Better World, and how it’s guiding future growth and societal impact,” Ms Fenske said.

“I’m looking forward to working with the teams producing the company’s trusted, iconic brands that provide care for billions of people around the globe and finding ways to provide even more access to Kimberly-Clark’s essential products.”
