Global pulp and papermaking giant Kimberly-Clark has ranked among the top employers named to the Forbes list of World’s Best Employers 2021.
The American company has 400 employees and contractors at its Millicent Mill.
Of the thousands of companies eligible for the recognition, only 750 were selected for the World’s Best Employer title, which is Forbes’ most prestigious international employer accolade.
Companies on the Forbes World’s Best Employers list were chosen based on globally administered independent surveys covering a vast sample of roughly 150,000 employees from 58 countries.
Employees were asked how likely they were to recommend their company to friends and family and which organisations they would choose in addition to their own.
“We are honoured to be named as one of the world’s best employers by Forbes,” company spokesperson Sandi Karrmann said.
“Kimberly-Clark offers an inclusive and caring environment that enables talented people to grow and pursue rewarding careers, work with iconic brands and positively impact the lives of consumers around the world.
“Being named to this list reflects the company’s commitment to creating a workplace where all employees have the opportunities and support they need to achieve success in their professional and personal lives.”
