Knights poised for battle

The Blue Lake Knights return to battle this weekend in a nines round robin rugby competition at Malseed Park on Saturday.

The Knights will take on South Adelaide and the Naracoorte Jets in an action-packed tri-series.

With questions surrounding the upcoming Limestone Coast Rugby League competition due to border restrictions, the round robin will provide some much-needed game time for the Mount Gambier outfit.

The side, led by captain Lloyd Pearce-Rasin, has been preparing for kick off since the start of August with weekly sessions at Frew Park.

Pearce-Rasin will lead with authority, while other players to look out for include Sean Hunter, Donovan Wood and Chris Driver.
Action will begin from 4pm at Malseed Park.
