League banks on financial support

The long-standing and valued partnership between the Bendigo Bank and Western Border Football and Netball will continue into the new decade. After last week’s announcement, the upcoming winter competitions will be known as the 2021 Bendigo Bank Western Border Football and Netball seasons.

With anticipation building, Mt Gambier & Districts Community Bank and WBFL & WBNA branch manager Tracy Koop was proud to continue the three year-partnership as naming rights sponsor of the League. “Mount Gambier & Districts Community Bank is pleased to continue our long-running partnership as Naming Rights Sponsors with the WBFL & WBNA,” she said. “The community spirit shown by the League to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for young men and women to play sport is one that we are proud to support.”

WBFL president Michael Summers was also more than happy to extend the healthy relationship. “We are extremely proud and honoured to continue this highly valued partnership which benefits the league and member clubs,” he said. “The continuation of this partnership provides us with ongoing financial sustainability.

“Mount Gambier & District Community Bank continue to be involved in a broad range of community activities and we look forward to supporting and promoting their involvement with the Western Border Football and Junior Football Leagues and Western Border Netball Association.”

Both parties also wished all clubs and players the very best for the upcoming season which begins on Saturday, April 10.
