Learning opportunities grow

Mount Gambier’s Reidy Park Primary School is one of 10 SA schools to receive additional State Government funding for upgrading works.

Reidy Park will receive an additional $330,000 to deliver a $5.33m upgrade which includes a new outdoor covered area, the redevelopment of play spaces, and the refurbishment of learning areas.

Minister for Education, Training and Skills Blair Boyer announced the funding on Monday.

“With quality facilities comes quality education. I am proud to be providing preschools and schools across South Australia with the additional funding to make sure they have the facilities families deserve,” he said.

“Our students deserve to spend each day in an outstanding learning environment that allows their teachers to support them to be their best.

“Rather than seeing these schools miss out on the facilities they deserve, the Malinauskas Labor Government has stepped in and provided additional funding to make sure they get the best learning environment for the best learning outcomes.”
