Library shut for works

The Mount Gambier Library will be closed today for essential maintenance.

A Mount Gambier City council spokesperson said the closure was necessary to allow for the resurfacing of the floors to ensure the building’s longevity and maintenance.

“The City of Mount Gambier is committed to ensuring the facility remains in top condition to continue serving the community for many years,” the spokesperson said.

“While the physical library will be closed, customers will still have access to the library’s digital content via the Mount Gambier Library website.

“The library offers many digital resources, including eBooks, audio, magazines and movies.

“Students can also access homework help through the Studiosity platform, and professionals can enhance their skills through LinkedIn Learning.”
