Life saving services rolls into town

Amobile screening unit from BreastScreen SA has arrived in Millicent for its two-yearly visit.

The program provides free mammograms primarily for women aged 50-74.

Breast screens can detect breast cancer at an early stage, often before symptoms can be felt.

The earlier breast cancer is found, the easier it can be to treat.

The mobile unit is parked outside the Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts Centre and will remain for a few weeks.

Call 132 050 to make an appointment.
