Atraditional religious observance took place this month at cemeteries from Kingston to Port MacDonnell.
Catholic priests Peter Zwanns and Olek Stirrat also blessed the graves and sprinkled them with holy water at Millicent, Mount Gambier, Robe and Penola.
As the robed priests made their way around each cemetery, mourners laid flowers and said prayers at the graves of their loved ones.
November is the month for Catholics to especially remember and pray for deceased relatives, friends and benefactors.
Throughout the month it is another Catholic tradition to visit the cemetery and say prayers.
In past years on All Souls Day on November 2, priests would also lead the recitation of the Rosary at cemeteries.
