Maccas top night owls

The Millicent Night Owls competition is approaching dusk, but the players continue to hit the greens with plenty of enthusiasm.

The Pups pair of Sam Kent and Todd Craig both recorded a trio of touches.

The likes of Jayden Williams (Bedford Butterflies), Ian Mitchell (Scrappers), Ralph Domashenz, Ray Doecke (Maccas), Robert Leslie (Somerset Seniors) and Dez King (Beetles) joined them with three touches each.

The Somerset Legends team of David Sharp, Anthony Donghia, Wilbur Lane and Wayne Ross topped Red Division after defeating Sparkies 30+13.

Other winners were Untouchables 27+3, while Rovers and Max’s Fours won on forfeits.

Blue Division was dominated by Maccas.

The combination of Ray Doecke, Malcolm McRobert, Graham McRobert and Simon Cooper defeated Rotary 30+27.

Try Hards 28+19, Grand Hotel 29+12, Somery Seniors 27+4 and Birdies 25+2 also had success.

High scorers in White Division were Bernie Bowman, Mary Bellinger, Glen Tilley and Barb Leicester.

The quartet represented Sunnies and it defeated Lion Cubs 29+15, while Scrappers 28+7, Gizzies Crew 28+6, Bedford Butterflies 28+5 and Beanz Team 28+3 were the other winners.
