A 53-year-old Limestone Coast man has been charged with maintaining a sexual relationship with a child.

The man was arrested by Sexual Crimes Investigation Section detectives on Monday, February 12.

It will be alleged the offence occurred in the late 1990s to early 2000s.

He was refused police bail and appeared in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on 13 February.
