Millicent Football Club coach Tom Renzi escaped serious injury after being involved in a head-on smash at Tantanoola on Thursday afternoon.
Police said the occupants of the two vehicles were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
It occurred near the junction of the Tantanoola Access Road and the Tantanoola/Kongorong Road with the emergency services mobilised at 4.35pm.
The collision scene was attended by police, the SA Ambulance Service and CFS appliances from Tantanoola and Millicent.Both vehicles were extensively damaged and local traffic police are investigating the causes of the collision.
It took 90 minutes for the vehicles to be taken away and the debris cleared from the roadway.
