Metropolitan Probus club visits

Hallett Cove Probus club members were introduced to Aussie croquet in perfect playing conditions recently.

Mount Gambier Croquet Club hosted the event, with members divided into two playing groups and all four courts used.

Those taking part commented on how the club presented the croquet games and enjoyed a Devonshire morning tea.

The visiting service club’s president thanked the Mount Gambier Croquet Club for a new experience and said that some members may well go on to pursue playing at a club in the Adelaide area.

The Mount Gambier Croquet Club will this week introduce twilight croquet on the first and third Friday of the month.

Games will start at 5pm tomorrow and continue through the daylight saving season.
