The Military Brotherhood Military Motorcycle Club is committed to supporting veterans, their families and the community along with establishing great mate ship and camaraderie along the way.

The family-orientated club started in 2009 and recruits past and present serving members from all services, including the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Commonwealth and Allied Forces, their families, friends and their supporter base.

There are sub-branches throughout Australia and the club covers all states, comprising 700 to 800 members nationally.

Each sub-branch operates with five membership types: Service Members, Sierra Squad, Retired, Junior and Life Members.

Upholding the motto “The Task Is Ours”, they are dedicated to supporting and giving back to veterans and their families who are doing it tough.

The club plans ahead 30 years, aiming to continue supporting club members, veterans, past service members and their families.

The club is a safe haven which upholds high moral standards and ethics. They do not tolerate non-prescription drugs, sexism or violence.

Members are community-minded and must be conviction free.

They are actively involved with fundraisers and the community. The MBMMC South East South Australia club members said they are currently fundraising for Legacy.

They try to keep as much money in South Australia as possible. Some SESA members recently gave their time to a working bee for the local O’Dea family, who have been struggling due to a horrific workplace accident three years ago.

President of the MBMMC SESA David (Bow) Tye said they have a national club meet every two years and the SA members catch up with Victorian members every 12 months. Bow said they are always seeking new members.
