Grant High School students have got their heads in the game and are ready to rock the stage for their 2024 school production High School Musical on Stage.
This pop culture musical will show on July 4 and 5 at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre in Mount Gambier.
Director Abbey Marston-Kleeman said she was looking forward to the performances.

“This musical allows our students the opportunity to delve into the amazing world of performing arts and develop friendships across year levels,” she said.
“We wanted a musical that was able to connect with the entire community, hence why we chose High School Musical on Stage, we knew it would be a hit with everyone.”
The musical follows the relationship between Troy, a high school jock and Gabriella, the new girl at school and explores the universal themes of friendship, love and acceptance.

Student Zoey Norman who plays Gabriella said she was inspired to audition for the show.
“I was part of the musical back in 2022 and loved it – it was an amazing and memorable experience,” she said.
“When I found out about the musical this year, I knew I wanted to audition again.”
Tickets are available through Country Arts SA or the Box Office at Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre.
