New residents and friends meet in region

The next get together of the Millicent and Surrounds New Residents and Friends Group will be held on the morning of April 10 at Kalangadoo.

Local historian Sandra Young has kindly offered her time to walk with the group and explain some of the history of the town and district.

Retired Kalangadoo stationmaster Peter Savage will host the Railway Museum tour and share his passion for everything railways related.

The day’s events will start with a coffee at the general store and perhaps a bite to eat at the Kalangadoo Hotel afterwards.

The March monthly gathering of the newly-formed group attracted a gathering of 30 to a bush and forest walk near Mount Burr.
