Novel event bookmarked at Cave Gardens

Book worms are being encouraged to pause reading to discover more great stories at the Rotary Club of Mount Gambier’s upcoming book fair.

City Hall will again be packed with stacks of pre-loved books for sale at the club’s annual event.

The two day event will take place on October 23 between 9am and 4pm and again on October 24 between 9am and 3pm.

Entry will be via the Cave Gardens entrance and visitors are asked to support with a gold coin donation.

With a mission to recycle and re-use, the community has been encouraged not throw away any good reads into landfill.

In the lead up, the Mount Gambier library will be accepting any unwanted book donations. The club has requested donations to be in good condition.

The event is sure to entice readers of all ages, abilities and interests with a variety of books too numerous to mention for sale.

Funds raised support the club’s community projects and tea, coffee and scones will also be available at the fair.
