Local Accredited Sports Nutritionist Lucinda Porcelli has launched her recipe book, ‘In the Kitchen with CindaFit, Mastering your Macronutrients’.
Ms Porcelli, author and founder of CindaFit Nutrition Pty Ltd, launched her book on Saturday morning at Confession. She is qualified in Nutrition and Health Science and is a weight loss specialist.
The 280-page hard-cover book is filled with over 90 delicious, healthy alternatives to unhealthy, high-calorie foods, which have been macro-calculated. The science-based recipes have proven to guide her clients in achieving positive body results.
Ms Porcelli said copies were selling fast Australia-wide, including more than 300 sold in the first two days of pre-sale and hundreds sold at the launch.
“It’s a pinch-myself moment, I feel so proud after years of development on this product,” she said.
“I could not be happier with the launch and I am very grateful for all the support from the Mount Gambier community.
“A huge thank you to Confession for hosting my launch party and Emma from Little Crafter Co for bringing my vision of this day to reality.”
A special feature is the unique barcode on each recipe, scanned into the MyFitnessPal Application to track nutrition intake. All recipes featured include an allergen key and section tabs, making In the Kitchen with CindaFit seamless to navigate.
“We have tried to make it the one-stop kitchen staple recipe book for any family,” Ms Porcelli said.
Ms Porcelli is passionate about nutrition and health and making your diet a sustainable lifestyle. Her recipes and one-on-one coaching have guided thousands of clients over the years to achieve excellent, sustainable weight-loss results.
“I absolutely love showing people what they can do without cutting out their favourite foods, it is the most rewarding job,” she said.
Ms Porcelli recommended the family-friendly recipe book to anyone wanting to create healthier meals and learn the difference that eating the correct macronutrients can have on energy balance.
The meals in the book feature real food with a CindaFit spin, such as chicken parmigiana, curries, melting moments, banana bread, lasagne and pizzas.
“I love food, cooking and have a passion for creating in the kitchen,” she said.
“Mostly I love showing people how easy it can be to make their eating a lifestyle.”
