Office comment sought

Public comment has been invited on the development application for a proposed $5.5m office for Wattle Range Council on parklands at North Terrace, Millicent.

Council has yet to approve a design or commit to the new complex.

The costings for the initial plans well exceeded the $5.5m cap placed the council in 2020 and these are undergoing revision.

As part of its investigations for a new office, council has lodged plans with Plan SA and this State Government agency is handling the development approval process.

As well as floor plans and architects’ sketches, the 44 pages of supporting documents lodged by the council include an analysis of the soil profile and traffic management.

Comment on the proposed development must be lodged with Plan SA by May 30.
