Past MP continues community service

Former Independent Member for Mount Gambier Don Pegler continues in public life.

He has been re-appointed as an unpaid Justice of the Peace (JP) for the coming 10 years.

His re-appointment was published in the South Australian Government Gazette last week and expires in a leap year on February 29, 2032.

After serving as Grant District Mayor, Mr Pegler represented Mount Gambier in State Parliament between 2010 and 2014.

Nowadays, he divides his time between the family farm at Kongorong and a home at Beachport.
