Police on paw patrol

Mount Gambier Police have returned a Staffy puppy to its home after it disappeared from the premises last week.

On Sunday, May 30 Mount Gambier police received a report that a Staffordshire puppy had gone missing from a Mount Gambier home.

An astute officer saw a man with the pup whilst on a routine patrol and after speaking with the officer the man returned the puppy to police.

The pup has now been safely returned to his grateful owners.

Police are now investigating the manner by which the pup came to be in the man’s possession.

Police are asking anyone who has information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers online at crimestopperssa.com.au or free call 1800 333 000.
