Pre-polling has opened for the October 14 referendum about establishing a Voice to Parliament.
On October 14 Australians will have their say in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
Voters will be asked to vote on a single question whether to alter the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
Early voting can be undertaken in Mount Gambier at 19 Sturt Street in the former Brumby’s Signs building, while in Naracoorte it can be done at the Naracoorte Senior Citizens Club at 45 Sandstone Avenue.
Australian Electoral Commissioner Tom Rogers is encouraging voters to plan their vote for the first referendum Australia has had since 1999.
