Race fans revved up

The second meeting of the Borderline Speedway season is fast approaching, with the action the speedway to hit the track on December 28.


It will be an exciting night of racing action as the Clay-Per-View Sprintcar Speedweek races towards Mount Gambier.


Borderline Speedway will host the third night of the event with the first two nights hosted at the Murray Bridge speedway.


Nights four and five will take place on December 30 at Avalon Raceway and January 1 at Premier Speedway.


There will be several local competitors racing on the night, including Scott Enderl, Parker Scott, Glen Sutherland and Daniel Pestka.


US drivers Chase Randell and Aaron Reutzel from Texas will also be competing in the Clay-Per-View Sprintcar Speedweek.


Current Australian champion Jock Goodyer will be racing, taking on the back to back King’s Challenge champion James McFadden, while Brock Hallet is coming off a win at the Classic in Portland last year and will be hopeful with his chances over the week.


Also racing on the night will be the Speedcars Blackjack Series final and the SA Modlites title.


Former Modlite champion Sam Gollschewsky from Queensland will be at the Borderline Speedway racing, along with Ipswich’s former international driver Tyler Snow.


Gates will open from 4pm with racing action from 5pm with tickets still available and the night live streamed via Clay-Per-View.


The next meet will be on January 5 which will feature the main event Formula 500 Speedweek, with the wingless sprints returning alongside the Summer Slam.
