Residents to guide town visions

The communities of Mount Burr and Tantanoola are invited to come along and share their ideas and vision for the towns.

Wattle Range Council is seeking help from residents to refresh the Community Town Plans and give their views on new town entry signage.

Community meetings will be held at the Mount Burr football clubrooms on Friday (April 8) at 5.30pm as well as the Tantanoola football clubrooms on April 13 at 5.30pm.

The feedback will help guide council’s planning and budget allocation process.

The Community Town Plans will have a life of 10 years and will be a unique vision for each, individual town.

The plans will identify projects and priorities that both council and the wider community can work towards in the long term.

Previous Community Town Plans had identified town entry signage as a priority in both Mount Burr and Tantanoola.

Council is progressing these projects and seeks community input to ensure the signs reflect the community’s visions.
