Roadworks here for long haul

There will be no relief for Limestone Coast motorists amid the continuation of ongoing roadworks on Jubilee Highway.

Jubilee Highway West (northern carriageway) will be closed to traffic until late June 2024 from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 6.30am and 6pm.

One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on the southern carriageway at reduced speed and remain in place outside of working hours.

The disruptions are due to new pavement works being undertaken between Wehl Street North and Suttontown Road to improve road surface quality in which the existing pavement will be replaced with new asphalt.

The works are part of the $190m Princes Highway Corridor Upgrade program which is delivering infrastructure upgrades on the Princes Highway Corridor, from Meningie to the South Australian/Victorian border.

Properties on Jubilee Highway West will be restricted for the duration of works.
