Robe Council holds ‘special meetings’

The Robe District Council held two brief special meetings on August 16 and both were closed to the public.

The first began at 5.05pm, lasted only 16 minutes and discussed the chief executive recruitment process.

Around two hours later, a second meeting was convened.

It lasted 12 minutes and considered legal advice.

The sole staff member in attendance was acting chief executive Deb Brokenshire while all elected members were present with the exception of Councillor Nick Brown.
