School’s out for Penola teacher

After 36 years as a teacher at the Penola Primary School, Tony O’Connell has decided to hang up the chalk.

A farewell will be held at the outdoor area at the primary school tomorrow from 4.30pm until 8pm, with formalities at 5.30pm.

Everyone is invited to come along to the celebrations and to bring their own chair, picnic rug, nibbles and refreshments.

Barbecue sausages and hamburgers will be provided.
