Seaside award winners named

The Robe District Council has announced its 2024 Australia Day Award recipients.


Tracey Bainger has been named Citizen of the Year, with Ella Mackey named as Young Citizen of the Year.


The Robe Golf Club’s Tee off for Breast Cancer fundraiser was named Community Event of the Year and the Robe District Mayoral Award was given to Kerrie Boyd.


All members of the public are invited to join in the 2024 Australia Day Celebrations on the Robe Institute Lawns.


There will be a free breakfast served by the Robe Lions Club from 8am, with the official ceremony to commence at 9am. There will be music by local band AXIS.
