Seaside bowling exchange

Players from the Dartmoor Bowling Club visited the Port MacDonnell Club in the annual exchange day between the two clubs.

The day started with morning tea and a welcome by Port MacDonnell president Paul Weir to set the scene.

One game of 12 ends was played before lunch with players from both clubs mixing with some first year bowlers.

A leisurely lunch of mains and dessert was followed by a game of 10 ends.

Some teams flourished and none more so than Danny Gaut, Ray Cussen, Nat Misic and Ben Tilley.

The quartet led by Gaut was unstoppable and took out the overall honours.

The day was played in warm conditions and the new bowlers thoroughly enjoyed being part of the competition. All participants look forward to the return visit next year to Dartmoor.
