Aman has died after a crash at Monbulla early on Tuesday morning.

About 6.10am emergency services were called to the intersection of Clay Wells and Kinley roads after reports that a Toyota Hilux had crashed and rolled.

The sole occupant, a 21-year-old man from OB Flat, died at the scene.

Major Crash officers attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the collision.

The man’s death is the eighth life lost on South Australian roads in 2022, compared with 14 at this time last year.

In a separate incident earlier on Tuesday morning, two trucks collided at Wye.

The trucks collided on Glenelg River Road, about 1.5km north of Tillers Road, at 3.25am.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Road closures were in place for most of the day on Glenelg River Road with northbound traffic diverted on to Tillers Road and southbound traffic diverted on to Green Point Road.
