‘Shots fired’

Police are investigating after shots were fired at a Mount Gambier home last week.

Police were called to Douglas Street after reports of gun shots heard in the street at 1.45am on Thursday.

When police arrived they discovered bullet holes in the home’s exterior.

Thankfully the occupants were not injured.

Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene on Thursday to gather evidence.

A police spokesperson said while it was still early in the investigation, police do not believe this was a random incident.

Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at www.crimestopperssa.com.au or 1800 333 000.
