Four-legged visitors are not usually permitted to enter the electorate office of Liberal Member for MacKillop Nick McBride.

However, one such occasional caller has a lifetime access-all-areas pass to the premises in Naracoorte’s main street.

Lottie is a year-old West Highland Terrier and belongs to electorate officer Rosemary Tierney and her family.

Mr McBride has decades of experience of working dogs at his family’s Conmurra Station between Millicent and Kingston.

Nevertheless, he also appreciates the worth of companions such as Lottie to the Tierneys.
