Speedway season comes to abrupt end

The Borderline Speedway 2023/24 season has come to an early end following the cancellation of this weekend’s SA Sprintcar Title and SA Limited Sportsman Title due to low car numbers.

Borderline Speedway took to its Facebook page earlier in the week to announce the news.

“It is not viable for us to run with the low numbers nominated,” the post read.

“All nominations paid will be refunded this week. All online tickets for April 6 will be refunded.

“We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over this season.

“It has been a big effort by all our volunteers to make all our shows run, without you it would not be possible.

“This brings the 2023/24 Borderline Speedway Season to a close. Further updates about our 2024/25 calendar will be made public in the future.”
