At the end of May, Dee recently said a bittersweet farewell to her business Decor House after 20 years of bringing window furnishing solutions to the South East and beyond.
Starting her career with Somerfields Carpets, she spent four years immersing herself into learning the trade before deciding to take on her own business venture.
In 2004 she opened Décor House, building a reputation as a window furnishing specialist, servicing Mount Gambier and the South East, later expanding to clients further afield, including Adelaide and the Riverland.
As fate would have it, Dee has returned to the same shop where her career first began.
Widely known for its flooring solutions, Choices is now a one-stop shop also combining window furnishing, décor and paint solutions.
For guidance in the latest in exterior and interior window furnishing solutions in an abundant range of colours and designs, Dee is the name that should spring to mind.

An already established connection with Choices Flooring through her consulting to match window furnishings to carpet when she had Décor House has made for an easy transition to her new workplace.
“I do colour coordination to match window furnishings, carpet, paint and décor,” Dee said.
“When I had Décor House I was going back and forth with clients. But now I’m here, it’s a one stop shop.
“It was like I never left. I have just gelled back in.”
Dee is able to come to the client for onsite consultations including measure and quote.
