Stableford win ‘teed up’

The Millicent Golf Club hosted 22 women for a stableford event for the first round of the Heather Walker Memorial Trophy.

Heather Anderson claimed the A Grade win with 37 points in front of Lana Barlow on 33, while Sue Ireland was too good in B Grade with 37 points, with Tanya Payne runner up on 34. Kirsty Bailey was nearest the pin on the 13th.

Other nearest the pins were second shot 9th Virginia DeDonatis, second shot 5th HCP 25-54 Heidi Muhovics and also second shot 17th HCP 32-45.

Sue Ireland took the nine hole comp on the front nine with 19 points. The ball winners were Karen Altschwager 34 points, Lyn Watson 33 and Debbie Tincknell 32.
