Police are investigating a suspicious fire in Mount Gambier on Wednesday night.
At 10.45pm emergency services were called to reports of a grass fire on Railway Terrace at the Rail Lands.
MFS managed to quickly extinguish the blaze which burnt 50 metres of vegetation.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious.
Luckily there was no damage to property.
