Mount Gambier and District Tennis Association players will take to the courts this weekend, with Division 2 and C Boys gearing up for Round 5 of the season.

The games taking place this weekend will each decide important placings on the ladder.

Mount Gambier will go up against Mil Lel, with the match to decide if Mount Gambier will keep its position on the ladder for another week or possibly let Mil Lel jump ahead depending on the outcome of other games.

Mount Gambier has had a successful season so far and Mil Lel might just be able to test them this weekend.

Reidy Park and West Gambier will be competing for third place on the ladder.

Reidy Park has already sat in the top two position, while West has remained steady in fourth.

Suttontown will also be taking on Glencoe, where they will play hard and fast tennis in a bid to get themselves out of last position on the ladder.

It will be a long weekend of tennis as eight of the nine teams will compete in the C Boys this Saturday.

Mount Gambier White has a bye this weekend, while West will compete against Mount Gambier Blue, Uniting White against Moorak, and Mount Gambier/Mil Lel against Uniting Red.

Uniting Red sits a top the ladder, followed by Mount Gambier Blue, Glencoe/Mount Schank, Mount Gambier/Mil Lel, Mount Gambier White, West Gambier, Uniting White, Mil Lel and Moorak rounding out the final position.

The games between the boys will be competitive and tough as they fight for their positions on the ladder, or keep themselves climbing towards that premiership match.
