Only two teams remain undefeated after round three in the Kowree Naracoorte-Tatiara Football League.
Kingston and Mundulla won their respective games on the weekend to improve their season win/loss records to 3-0 and set up a round 4 match of the round clash between the two sides.
Mundulla sent a statement with an emphatic victory over Keith on Saturday.
The Tigers put their foot down against the Crows right from the start of the game and never let up until the final siren.
James Hinge had a dominant day in front of the goals with five kicked during the afternoon.
Billy Wiese kicked three goals and Dylan Mosey kicked two goals to help the Tigers get a winning score.
Jacob Grosser, James Hinge and Jake McGrice were Mundulla’s best players in the victory.
Keith battled hard and got three goals from Billy Wade and two goals from Lewis Hender to try and keep them in the game.
Max Cunningham, Edward Bray and Colby Read were the Crows’ best players.
Border Districts bounced back from their round two loss with a big winning performance against Kybybolite.
The Eagles won the game by 59 points and only bad kicking at goal hurt the margin being bigger.
Border Districts forward Dylan Schoenmakers kept his good form going with four more goals added to his season tally in the win.
Mackenzie Bower with three goals and Jameson Bower and Mark Quinn with two goals apiece were strong performers in the victory.
Jameson Bower, Zac Richards and Fraser Adams were the Eagles’ top three players in the victory.
Kybybolite found it tough to find a dominant forward in their forward line.
The Tigers had all single-goal kickers during the game with only Matt Black, Billy Laurie and Joseph Schultz being able to get on the scores list.
William Shepherd, Billy Laurie and Joseph Schultz were the Tigers’ best players.
Lucindale won a low-scoring affair against Bordertown on Saturday.
The game recorded only 10 goals during it and the Roos did enough to get the victory on the day by 22 points.
Josh Trembath continued his good start to the season with another three goals on Saturday for the Roos.
Henry Tregoweth added two of his own as he was solid in the victory.
Riley Mcfarlane, Bradley Agnew and Travis Ware were good performers for the Roos all game long.
Bordertown’s inaccuracy in front of the goal hurt their chances of getting the victory.
The Roosters could have been ahead by a few goals early in the game, but they just could not get the goals needed to put any pressure on the Roos.
The Roosters had all single-goal kickers in Jonte Dolling, Jacob Eats and Brent Shuttleworth.
Bryce Damin, Cam Dahlitz and Lochie Eats were Bordertown’s best players.
Kingston won a close battle against Naracoorte to keep their unbeaten start to the season going.
This game had six lead changes during it as it was a good hard-fought contest.
The Saints were able to gain a break late in the third quarter and hold it until the end of the game to record the victory.
James Siviour was amazing in front of the goal with five majors.
Travis Burns added two goals to the Saints tally during the game.
Thomas Matsouliadis, William Watts and Cody Benson were strong contributors to the victory.
Rory Taggert tried his hardest to get the Demons across the line with five goals.
Josh Cother and Sam Willson kicked two goals apiece to help the Demons stay in the game as well.
Penola recorded their first victory of the season when they proved to be too strong for Padthaway by 49 points.
The Eagles started the game strongly with six first-quarter goals and held the Lions defensively for most of the game.

Garret Ha and Bradley Merrett kicked two goals each to help Clayfield kick a winning score for the Eagles.
Jayden Eldridge, Scott Merrett and Jordan Galpin were the Eagles’ dominant players during the win.
Padthaway could only find one multiple-goal kicker during the afternoon in Mitchell Minns who ended up with two goals.
The Lions’ best contributors for the game were Mitchell Minns, Mitchell Cotter and Tobin Cox.
Round 4 Preview
Kingston v Mundullla
The game of the round is the battle of the two undefeated teams in Kingston and Mundulla. I hope both teams are as close to full strength as possible as this game looks like there will be some great player matchups in it.
Mundulla has stars such as Jake McGrice, Tom Gaden, Dylan and Nick Mosey.
The Tigers have James Hinge in the forward line who can be a handful to contain, I think Ben Rogers will be given that assignment by Kingston.
Kingston has recruited very nicely this season.
Chris Draper, Thomas Matsouliadis and Jack Armfield have added to the ball movement of the team nicely.
Jarryd Hill has returned to the team after a season off and his switch to the forward line has been a positive one.
Hill has kicked four goals in three games and helped set up other forward chances to score.
The Saints also have James Siviour and Todd Lockwood who both can kick a big bag of goals on their day.
Siviour in particular has been in outstanding form to start the season and he is hard to stop from marking the ball once he launches at it.
The head-to-head contest of Tom Gaden and Lachlan Duell vs Todd Lockwood and James Siviour is worth paying for the gate entry alone.
This game will be a cracking game and a big crowd will be there to watch it and I am sure there will not be much in it at the end of the game.
Lucindaale v Naracoorte
Lucindale hosts Naracoorte in a game that is set to be a cracking contest between the two rivals.
The Roos are starting to find their feet with two wins in a row after their round one loss and they face a Matt Willson-led Demons team who will be looking to get back in the winners’ list after their loss to the Saints.
The Roos have the home-ground advantage and will be confident of getting the victory.
Naracoorte plays pretty good football at Lucindale normally and I can see Rory Taggert really having a good game in front of the goals.
Naracoorte might just have too much firepower for the Roos to contain them.
Bradley Agnew, Riley McFairlane and Henry Tregoweth will be the keys to the home team pulling out the win.
I think the Demons will get across the line against the Roos in a close game.
Border Districts v Penola
Border Districts head into their contest as warm favourites at home in the battle of the Eagles when they host Penola.
Borders have started the season nicely and sit inside the top five with a 2-1 record.
Penola on the other hand have rebounded and found a bit of form after their round one thumping.
Jayden Eldridge has adapted to his new club nicely and is starting to help the Eagles be more competitive.
Borders recruits have also helped put the club in a strong position to challenge for the finals.
The team has some good depth now and they seem to be on a mission to really make this year count.
Dylan Schoenmakers could have a day out in this one in front of the sticks.
Borders will fancy their chances to get the job done on Saturday.
Padthaway v Kybybolite
Padthaway vs Kybybolite is an intriguing game and one that both teams will be licking their lips to get stuck into.
The Lions and Tigers have not won a game this year and both teams have found it hard to score.
It looks like it could be a case of whoever plays better out of Tobin Cox and Billy Laurie could be the reason why either team gets their first win on the board.
Padthaway has been a little better than the Tigers in getting goals.
The Lions will start favourites at home, but it would not be a surprise if the Tigers get the victory.
Bordertown v Keith
Bordertown are at home to Keith and the Roosters find it hard to kick winning scores.
Bordertown needs to find a good spread of goal-kickers if they are to cause an upset in this game.
The Crows boast some of the best spread of goal-kickers in the league.
Billy Wade, Lewis Hender and George Johnson can kick a winning score together most weeks.
When the Crows get goals from their midfield also, then it is pretty hard to beat them.
Bryce Damin, Jacob Eats and Lochie Eats are going to have to do a lot of damage for the Roosters to be right in this game until the final siren.
I think the Crows will be far too strong and have too much talent across the field for Bordertown to contain.
