Rain did not stop the Under 15 game between Intruders and Saints, with both teams fighting hard in the first quarter.
The youngsters displayed great footwork and spacing on the court, creating plenty of opportunities for a free-flowing game.
With a quarter time score of 5-all the game looked to be a tough one.
In the second quarter the Saints stepped it up a notch to take the score to 14-6 to end the first half.
Saints continued to dominate going into the second half but that did not slow the Intruders who kept plenty of pressure on the ball.
Angela Walsgott and Chloe Shultz stood strong for their team to keep the game alive for Intruders.
Alice Mitchell shot 21 goals in the match and looked like a perfect fit under the goal.
Saints were too strong though, defeating Intruders 34-13.
Zodiacs had a nail-biting win against Hobitz Red 23-22, and Amazons defeated Vicis 36-27.
Saints remain top of the ladder followed by Zodiacs, Hobitz Blue, Intruders, Hobitz Red, Amazons and Vicis.
The A Grade match up between Saints and Vicis was looking to be a tough one for the latter team, but Vicis fought to the very end.
Nicole Forrest was a standout on the court from the first whistle, seemingly all over the court for the full 60 minutes.
Vicis defended strongly under the ring despite the intense attack of Saints.
There were multiple times throughout the match where the most impossible passes seemed to land perfectly for Saints.
Saints took the win 78-15.
Hobitz downed an undefeated Intruders side, beating them 65-38 and Amazons were too strong against Zodiacs 58-33.
