An investigation is under way into the workplace death of a young man in Mount Gambier.


Emergency services were called to the engineering company’s premises on Tuesday following an incident.


A SafeWork SA spokesperson confirmed that investigations had commenced on Tuesday.


“SafeWork SA has been notified of a fatality at an engineering company in Mount Gambier today (Tuesday),” the spokesperson said.


“SafeWork SA inspectors and investigators have been sent to the scene to begin enquiries.”
