Hannah Young has will not return for the Mount Gambier’s OneFortyOne Pioneers Women for the 2023 NBL1 South season.
Young (pictured), who grew up in Newcastle, has signed with the South West Metro Pirates in the NBL1 North competition.
Young spent two years playing for the Pioneers, where she averaged 11 points and 9 boards, including 3 double doubles.
She previously played US College Ball, as well as in the Waratah League for the Newcastle Hunters and WNBL for the Canberra Capitals and Townsville Fire.
Young’s father also played for the Harlem Globetrotters.
