Cooler weather brings out bowlers

This week 38 players went out to Millicent Bowls Club to play a round of 2-4-2 in much cooler weather.

Before going out to play president Peter Hyland reminded all bowlers of the up and coming General Meeting to be held on the Thursday, March 10 and also welcomed Keith Fields, one of the night bowlers and Harold Briggs from Ararat.

The winning team for this week taking home $38.00 each with a score of 35+16 was Rod Gibbs and Garth Baker.

Runners-up Malcolm Wright and John Drew took second place, also with a good score of 34+11.

Other winning teams were Robert Radley, Brian Goode 33+16, Terry Lonergan, Jan Buhlmann 33+16, a triple of Chris Earl, Sam Schofield and Peter Scanlon 32+6, Peter Hyland, Steve Carnellor 32+2, Eddie Hann, Derrick Lindh 31+22, Peter Bateman, Adriana Ross 30+5 and Ian Ross and John Scudds 30+3.
