An exhibition featuring new work from emerging artists working together will be held at Penola’s Gallery 54.
The artists have been working from the Artshed studio workshop on the property of Ann Carpenter at Glencoe.
The artists include Andrea Bartetzko, Margaret Boardman, Annette Cassidy, Michelle Curtis, Sue Foureur, Shirley Hogg, Kirsten Johnston, John Mossop, Di Nicholson and Debbie Prescott.
Their eclectic collection seeks to showcase the power of group creativity and how it enriches people’s lives.
Artists participating have grown in confidence in the group environment, testing and experimenting with different drawing and painting media, making artistic decisions about their work and the direction it is taking, and enjoying the showcasing of some of their most successful work.
The exhibition will open on September 5 at 2pm, with opening speaker John Mossip.
It will run until October 17.
